enable/disable pagination

hey,
i need to disable the buttons on my pagination element(all of them)
is there an option to do so?

Please provide an example shows how you define the pagination buttons.

the pagination buttons are ready to use in the pager element (3rd party).
<div class="main-pager-div"></div>
i only want them be disable  when there is a request for data from the server.
or enabled when data came back from the server.
i want all the pager buttons to be effected from the change.

Any html elements can be included into pagination as external buttons. Once you have the reference to your elements, you can do anything with them, including enabling or disabling actions.
