I'd like to have a blank item as a way for a user deselect.  the issue is, at least in chrome, that the computed height is zero, at least in Chrome.  the line-height property is still set at 20px, but chrome seems to be ignoring it.

any suggestions on working around that?

Please use the 'renderItem' function to custom the item text.
