I have a jsp page on which there are many fields including one datebox.

I am using tab key to come to datebox and then using Backspace to clear already existing value in datebox.

After this if I try to retrieve the value in the datebox by using $("#id").datebox('getValue') it is giving the previous value. It does not get blank/null.

When the input box is empty, calling 'getValue' method all return empty string. If your issue continues, please show an example to demonstrate your issue.
