There is currently no way to deal with tab overflow if you set tabPosition to be either on the right or the left (scroll bars appear for top/bottom):

Is there an option I am missing?  A planned fix?  Or am I SOL?

When 'tabPosition' is set to 'left' or 'right', the tab scrolling feature is no longer valid.
